Galion, OH -
9/15/07- Short Track Race - We went to the Sunset Ramblers MC to
race the short track, with temperatures in the mid 60’s and windy it
made for a chilly day and cool night of racing. In practice the track
was a little dry & hard, but as the night progressed with help from
the water wagon it became moist and somewhat tacky. I rode the JET
Racing CRF150RB in the 125cc class and in that heat I was second off
the line and I ended up second. In the 85cc class I rode the JET
Racing CR85 and in the heat I got the hole-shot and in turn 2, JR
Addison, my teammate got under me and passed me. But then he went high
going into turn 3 and I went under him in turn 4 and took the lead
back. I was able to hold him off to finish 1st. I rode the
JET Racing CRF150RB in the open-am class and in that heat I got caught
up in traffic off the start and ended up 3rd. In the 125
main JR got the hole-shot I got off the line in 2nd and
finished 2nd. In the 85cc main I got the hole-shot and JR
fell in turn 2, but he was OK and able to make the restart. On the
restart I got the hole-shot again, and pulled out to finish up 1st. In
the open-am main I started in 4th and had a really good
race with JR for 3rd. I tried everything I could, the
inside, outside, high side & the low side and ended up 4th
with JR in 3rd. I had a lot of fun in Galion, the track was
awesome and the crew did a great job.
I want to thank all of
my sponsors and the Sunset Ramblers MC for a great day of racing.

Norwalk, OH 9-8-07
We went to Norwalk, OH to race the ½ mile track at the Huron County
fairgrounds. I got to ride the JET Racing CR85 and the JET Racing
CRF150R. I rode in the 85cc class and the 100cc class. It was a cloudy
day and it looked like it was going to rain. In the 85cc heat race I
got a good start, got passed twice and ended up 3rd.I came
back and hopped onto the 150, in that class I still got an ok start
and ended up 4th. Right before I went out for the 85 main
it started to rain, we had a 1-hour rain delay and after that the
track was perfect. In the 85 main I got the whole shot and got passed
3 times so I ended up 4th. In the 100 main I was second off
the line and ended up 4th. Over all it was a good day of
racing and I had a lot of fun. We were supposed to race again on
Sunday but got rained out. A big thank you to Dave Martin & his crew
for putting in a great event.

Harpster OH 9-1-07
We had a lot of fun on the short track in Harpster, OH it was a sunny
day and I put in about 500 laps at the Triangle MC club grounds, the
club has made some great improvements to the facility. I got to ride
the JET Racing CR85 and the JET Racing CRF150R. I raced in the 85cc
class, the 100cc class, and the open amateur. In the 85cc class heat I
finished 3rd. In the 100cc class heat I got the hole shot and won. In
the open amateur heat I finished 2nd.The turn out was very small so
the program went very fast We put a pair of Vortex flat track bars on
the JET Racing CRF150R and I really liked them, they really made the
bike easier to control. In the 85 main I started in second and
finished second to teammate JR Addison. In the 100 main I was the
first one to turn one and the first one to the finish line. In the
open amateur main I had a good battle with Casey McCammon and finished
3rd. After the races we had open practice and I rode the JET Racing
CRF250, it was awesome and a good confidence builder. Over all it was
a good race day and I had a lot of fun.

8-24-07 Lawrenceburg, IN
We went to Lawrenceburg Speedway to race the short track Friday night.
I had a lot of fun because this was my first short track since the
nationals and seen some friends we had not seen in a while. I ran the
JET Racing CR85 in the 80cc class & the JET Racing CRF150R in the
125cc class. In both heats I finished in 2nd place. For the
mains I was mainly concentrating on getting a good start and not
shifting. In the 80cc main I got the hole-shot & held the lead for the
first lap before getting passed. I was able to hold 2nd
place & put some pressure on the leader but could not make the move.
On the 150 I started in 2nd place & was all over the leader
but he held his line & I wasn’t able to make the pass on the outside.
It was a good night of racing & I can’t wait to go back to
Lawrenceburg Speedway, it’s a good track run buy a great crew.

7-6-07 DuQuoin, IL - AMA Sports Black Cat Gold Dirt Track Grand
National Championships - We started the week off with a 1/2-mile race
on Monday. My first class was the 85cc MOD 7-11, I finished 4th in the
main, not a bad start considering there were 22 riders in the class
and only 12 went to the main. Next up was the 65cc MOD 7-11, I got a
decent start and was running third on the first lap. I quickly moved
to second and then I had to work for it but was able to take the lead
heading to the white flag, holding it to the checkered. With another
fourth place in the 85cc DTX 9-13 we were off to a good start. On
Tuesday we ran the indoor Short Track, again first up was the 85cc MOD
7-11. I made the main and finished 10th. Next in the 65cc MOD 7-11 I
started on the outside and ended up finishing fourth in the main. In
the 85cc DTX 9-13 I was running mid pack in the main when I got hit
from behind causing me to high-side and then got hit again when I was
down. The race was red flagged and I was headed to the hospital with a
big cut the front of my thigh. It took 15 stitches to sew it up.
Luckily we had Wednesday off so I had a day to recoup. Thursday
morning we headed to the TT track and decided to drop the 85cc DTX
class and ride conservatively in the 65cc MOD and 85cc MOD to gain
some points for the overall title. After a major rain delay things
went well in practice, my leg was not a problem at all, but I was
still concerned about getting hit and/or going down again. The 85 was
a hand full in the tight sections and I didn't make the main in the
85cc MOD. In the 65cc MOD it was a different story I got a direct
transfer to the main and was on the front row for the start. I knew my
best chance was to get a good start and ride smooth. When the light
turned green I pulled the hole-shot only to have the red flag come out
after another rider went down in the first turn. On the restart I did
it again, got the hole-shot, but was passed by Thomas Goodnick in turn
three. I settled, focused on being smooth and held my lines. It worked
I held on to second place and gained a 5 point lead heading to the
final day. Friday was our final day and we were back on the 1/2 mile
track, my favorite. I was feeling good and my stitches were not an
issue so we signed up in both 85 classes again, but I was really after
the 65cc MOD overall title. Practice was good and we skipped the
second 85 practices to conserve energy in the 90-degree heat. I won
both my 85cc class heats, but struggled a bit in the 65cc class with
Wyatt Anderson finishing second to him by only inches. In the 85cc MOD
7-11 main I was on the outside of the front row for the start and got
bumped going into turn one falling back to 7th place. I was
able to work my way back up to 5th by the finish. In 85cc
DTX I got the hole-shot and lead them down the back straight on the
first lap. Ryan Wells passed me in turn three and then Tyler Butts
moved up to mix it up with us. We raced hard and passed each other
several times but when it counted Butts was the first one to checkered
with me in second and Ryan third. I was excited to make the podium for
the first time at the Grand Nationals on the 85cc bike. In the 65cc
MOD 7-11 class I had the overall title if I finished in at least
second place. I was going for the win though and when the light
turned green I took the lead never looking back until I crossed the
finish line 8 laps later. This gave me the 65cc MOD 7-11 AMA Sports
Black Cat Gold Dirt Track Grand National Championship.
I want to say thanks to all of my
sponsors and the AMA staff for an awesome week of racing.

GO JET RACING!!!
5-26-07- Canton, OH - Bike Days
- On Saturday there was a great turnout with 17 riders in the 85cc
class. In my heat race I had a good battle with Ryan Wells, we passed
each other several times in four laps and I came out on top with the
win. The JET Racing CR85 was running awesome and the track was
perfect. In the 100cc class I rode the JET Racing CRF150R for the
first time on the half-mile and I finished third in the heat. Then it
started to rain and we hade a long delay waiting on the track to dry.
In the 85cc main my Cycra Racing Plastics hand guards really worked
well at keeping the roost off as I was running in second to Ryan on
the first lap. I was having trouble getting the front wheel to slide
on the wet tacky track and slipped to third place by the finish. In
the 100cc class I got a good start and was leading into turn one but
Ryan got around me and I finished 3rd. On Sunday there was
14 riders in the 85cc class and in my heat I got the hole-shot but
finished 2nd. In the 100cc class I rode the JET Racing CR85
and I hesitated on the start of the heat race, which cost me the
hole-shot. I was second into turn one and held on to finish 2nd.
In the 85cc main I got a good start and raced hard to finish 3rd.
In the 100cc main I got the hole-shot and was in the lead for two laps
before slipping up in turn three and falling back to finish 2nd.
I got some great half–mile practice for the national’s and had a lot
of fun. The Bike Days crew did a great job of prepping the track and
running a smooth program.

GO JET RACING!!!
5/18-20/07 Greenville, IL – AMA Sports
North Central Nationals -
Friday night we had open practice on the Short Track and things went
great. I got the JET Racing CR85 dialed in and must have ran about 100
laps. On Saturday morning we ran the Short Track race and although the
turn out was low the competition was tough. In the heat races I was
struggling with my starts but I managed to pull off the win in both
85cc classes. In the Short Track mains my starts didn’t improve much
but I still managed to take the win in both the 85 DTX and the 85 MOD
7-11. Saturday evening it was the TT race and in the heats my starts
still did not improve. It took a last lap pass over the jump to beat
JET Racing teammate JR Addison for the win in 85 MOD. I also won the
85 DTX heat after another good race with JR. In the TT mains I finally
got the hole-shot, I even got it in both classes and I also won both
classes. On Sunday we ran the half-mile, my favorite type of track. In
the 85 DTX heat it was JR and I again racing for the top spot, he won
I got 2nd. . We changed gearing before the 85 MOD heat race
and that put me a little closer to JR but it wasn’t enough to beat him
so I finished 2nd again. In the Half-mile 85 MOD main I was
second off the line to JR, going down the back straight I pulled a
draft pass on him and took the lead and the win. In 85 DTX again I had
to work my way to the front in order to pull off the win. It was a
great weekend of racing; I won the overall #1 plate in both classes
and had a lot of fun. A big Thank You to Steve Nace and his crew for
putting on an awesome
event.
A special thanks to all of my sponsors.

5-12-07 Harpster, Ohio
- On Saturday May 12, I went to the Triangle MC to race their hare
scrambles and short track. The first race was the hare scramble and I
rode my Suzuki RM65 in it. I won my class and got some really good TT
practice. On the short track in the 85cc class I rode the JET Racing
CR85. In the heat race the track was really rough and deep, I got a
bad start and finished 3rd. In the 100cc class I rode the
JET Racing CRF150R and in the heat race coming out of turn 4 I did a
super man over the handle bars with a great landing, a face plant and
bent the bars. I made the restart and finished 3rd. In the
main on the 85 I got 3rd and in the 100cc class main I also
got 3rd. The track was starting to groove by the end of the
day and I think this will be a great facility once the Triangle MC
completes the final stages of construction. Be sure to check out their
website at
www.ohioflattracksportcenter.com . I had a lot of fun in Harpster
and I’m ready for this weekend when we go to Greenville, IL for the

April 14 & 15,
2007 - Taylorville, Illinois -AMA Sports North Central Nationals Race canceled do to
weather. It will be rescheduled.
March 23 & 24,
2007 - DuQuoin, Illinois - On Friday night open practice we
changed a couple things like tire pressure, gearing, and length of
forks, we had the JET Racing CR85 & the CRF150 dialed in really good.
On Saturday the track had changed a lot it was not as tacky and I had
a lot of tire spin. We made some major changes to the tire pressure,
thanks to Bobby Lewis (Jake’s Dad), and it really helped. In the 85
short track heat I started third, got to second and caught up to the
leader, Jake. I tried to set him up for a pass but I did not have
enough time so I finished second. In the main I got a really bad start
from the front row & couldn’t pass anyone so I finished 6th.In
the 200 short track heat I finished 4th. I had trouble
getting a pull out of the corner. In the main I got 7th
from a second row start. In both short track races the competion was
tuff and we were all together running three or four wide at times, it
was a lot of fun. In the 85 TT heat the track was really slick but I
still got 3rd.. The 85 TT main was a good race and I
finished 3rd. This was my best finish so far on the 85 at
DuQuoin. I need to practice my starts and I know that would really
help a lot on the short tracks. I’ll be ready for my next race in
Taylorville, IL.

February 2007:
Jeffery rides on the ice for the first time and we had a blast! We got
together with
JET Racing teammates Wadeo Ward & JR Addison for a couple of
weekends of practice & training on the Addison's pond.
Jeffery's on the
#53 & JR on the other.

January 12 & 13,
2007 - DuQuoin, Illinois - Friday night open practice went
well. This was the first time I got to ride the new JET Racing
CRF150RB lowered and on a track. I really like the 4 strokes, they
have a lot of bottom end. My 65 and 85 also rode well. I also got to
ride Nick’s 65MOD bike, which was awesome. What I am really proud of
my dad for guessing gearing we did not have to change it all night.
The track got really slick at the end and I slid out on the 150.
Saturday I did good until I fell in the 65 ST main, I was running 3rd
when I fell there was 15 and I had to start in the back on a singe
file restart still finished 7 out of 2 laps. When I fell that time
that is when my dad took off running and fell, he bruised a rib.
Finishing 2nd in my 85 ST heat gave me a front row start
and helped me finish 5th out 18 in the main. My TT
finishes could have been better but overall it was a lot of fun and
good racing.

Circleville, OH . Jeffery clinches the 85cc class championship. With
Saturday's inclement weather delaying the start the finals were
cancelled & the results were based on the heat race finishes. With a
margin of .05 seconds Jeffery gets the win over Tyler Butts, the other
heat race winner. The 100cc class saw Jeffery & Tyler at it heads-up
with Jeffery coming out on top. A first in the 65cc class capped off a
perfect day with three wins. On Sunday with three class championships
in the bag Jeffery went into cruise mode, pulling off another win on
the 65cc bike over teammate Wade "Crazyo" Ward. A third in the 85cc &
